Our activities also include captive mining of Manganese ore. The ores we export are the oxides, such as pyrolusite, MnO2, hausmannite, Mn3O4 and manganite, MnO(OH). These ores are essential to iron and steel production by virtue of its sulfur-fixing, deoxidizing, and alloying properties. They are hard metal and are very brittle, fusible with difficulty and easily oxidized.
